Custom Best Scores each Hole

For this format of competition, players play in teams of two, three or four, where a selection of scores from the team players count on each hole.

With Schala, you have the option to choose how many scores count on each hole. For example, you could play a 2-player competition where the best score from either player counts, but with both player's scores counting on the 18th!

Skins

For this format it is usually stroke play and whoever wins the hole outright gets that ‘skin’. If a hole is drawn with no outright winner, the ‘skin’ for that hole is rolled over to the next hole which is then worth 2 ‘skins’.

Bogey  and Par

Are competitions played under the stroke play format, with each player competing against a fixed score for each hole. The player with the most “wins” during the competition is the winner, as in match play.

In bogey (or par) competition, the object is to beat a score of bogey (or par) on as many holes as possible.
